How I got started
I started a young age, maybe 10 years old. I give a lot of credit to my Dad for getting me interested in metal and machinery. Dad picked up a Honda ATC70 for me. It was on at that point, if it had wheels I was interested. I would bring home broken dirt bikes, all apart in boxes, fix them up and go ride.
Goals for the Future
I will continue to ride in the 30+ B and the +35 open class next year.
Bio
What inspires you to compete?
I am not a very competitive person by nature. I love to ride, it is my drug of choice and I am truly addicted to this sport. I like all of the technicalities of running the machines on the track and pushing them through the paces that they were designed for. I enjoy wrenching on the bikes, changing things up to see how it will handle or perform differently. The camaraderie of the people that I ride with every weekend keeps me competing.
What has been your most embarrassing moment?
Now, or when I was young? Now: Starting with the wrong class on a double gate drop. When I was young: Finding myself upside down in a ditch full of water in 30 degree weather. I attributed that crash to a “power failure”.
Some Personal Information About Me:
I am married with two kids. My daughter is 16 years old. My son is 6 years old. They both race at the locals, I couldn’t be prouder. My wife is also a racer. I had a lot of fun this year starting on the same gate drop with her.

Yep, I’m in shape, round is a shape.
Schedule: Work, Ride, Fix bikes, Repeat.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
Not going to grow up, quit asking.
Competitive Highlights
2005 - 9th overall in District 17 250C Stadium MX , 10th overall in AMA District 17 30+ B Stadium MX. , 3rd overall in the Thumper Class at FVOR hare scramble series.
2006 - 4th overall in District 17 250C Stadium MX , 8th overall in AMA District 17 30+ B Stadium MX. , 4th overall in the Thumper Class at FVOR hare scramble series.
2007 - Out entire season healing.
2008 - 5th overall in AMA District 17 30+ B Stadium MX. , 5th overall in the +35 open class at Megacross shootout series.
